Hi there !
My name is John de Koning, and as you might guess when you are reading this, I am one of the English teachers at this lovely school.
I have been a teacher at this school for more than twenty years already and as you can probably imagine it is not because I don’t like teaching, but because I think it is awesome !
One of the most important things about being an English teacher is that I teach my pupils (yes, and you too !) to read, speak, write and understand English within 4 years and that they also learn more about England as a country, the English people, some history, their (sometimes very weird) customs etc. But of course not only about England, but also about all the other English speaking countries and cultures in the world, for instance the USA, Canada, Australia, India and so on.
English is becoming more and more important for future studies, so I thought, “why not write something in English ? Your future starts here, now, today !”
